Bethesda Softworks introduced player housing to Skyrim with the Hearthfire expansion, and since then, The Elder Scrolls fans have been creating their ideal abodes in the vast frigid landscape. One Skyrim player has decided to create a home out in the field made seemingly entirely out of cheese.

Reddit user Rac-attack recently shared an image of their house in Skyrim, which is notably located in an open field on the side of a mountain rather than one of the many pre-made city-based locations. Skyrim fans who opt to build their own homes like Rac-attack can place these houses in many more areas beyond Riften, Markarth, Whiterun, or Windhelm, and they can be expanded upon through crafting various building materials. The normally wooden Skyrim house is a brighter yellow in Rac-attack’s image as the player has meticulously placed countless cheese items around the exterior and interior of the building.

Rac-attack’s customized Skyrim player housing has multiple pillars of cheese wheels maintaining the structural integrity of the home’s entrance, and many cheese wheels flood out of the building and onto the ground around the Skyrim player. The interior of the building is almost as cheesy, though some candles poke out above some cheese to show some additional items in the room beyond the plethora of dairy products. Next to the front door of the house are three potted plants that are growing cheese slices, with one representing Eldar Cheese and the others appearing to be Goat Cheese.

This Skyrim player’s house isn’t their only cheesy creation in the photo as Rac-attack’s character is dressed in cheese as well with a pile of cheese composing most of their body and a golden crown atop their head. Rac-attack’s character is also equipped with a Wooden Sword that blends in with the shades of yellow well, while the cheese plants match the surrounding foliage. Because much of the cheese house is not replicable without a mod, vanilla Skyrim players will have to settle for less cheese in and around their homes or will have to dedicate much more time than Rac-attack has in creating this home.

Rac-attack isn’t the first Skyrim player to decorate their homes with cheese as another player recently flooded their Breezehome in Whiterun to the brink with cheese. Although Rac-attack’s home seems entirely made of cheese, some parts that resemble the consumable food product don’t match the look of known cheeses in the game which suggests that other yellow items may have been used to create the look of a house made of cheese. Skyrim fans on PC who wish to make a similarly cheesy house to Rac-attack’s will have to download the Cheesemod to open up the plethora of cheese customization options.

Skyrim is available now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
