Sky Go app closing and crashing on Chromebook (Chrome OS)

Currently, many are facing an issue where they are unable to use the Sky Go app on their Chrome OS devices as it is constantly crashing.

Some users suggest that the issue started from a recent Chrome OS update.

I usually watch sky in my bedroom via sky go on my acer chromebook. Now, for some reason I’m unable to scroll past th 1st TV schedule page without th app just disappearing. And exactly th same if I try to watch any live shows. Its been suggested I clear th apps cache but to no effect. Any possible solutions, please? Source

being a sky customer of nearly 20 years , i’m dismayed to see that sky go now does not work on either my windows 11 laptop or my chromebook, both which seemed to stop working last week or so. I see others are affected too. Can someone come back to me and let me know what is happening on these as if it’s not fixed , i will be cancelling sky as this is one of the main reasons i have it !! thanks Source
