Sidhu Moosewala, a Punjabi singer and Congress leader, was killed in a shooting incident in Mansa district on Sunday.

Two other people were hurt in the event, as per reports, where more than 30 bullets were fired. In a serious condition, Moosewala was transported to the public hospital in Mansa, where he was pronounced dead.

The event occurred a day after the Punjab Police instructed his security, as well as the security of more than 420 individuals, including former MLAs, Jathedars of two Takhts, Deras’ leaders, and police personnel, to be withdrawn.

In December of last year, the singer became a member of the Congress party.

Moosewala was taken to Mansa hospital and was declared as dead, according to the civil surgeon, and the two other injured males were transferred to another hospital for medical care.

Three individuals were taken to the hospital, one of them was deceased, Sidhu Moose Wala. The two wounded have been sent to a superior hospital for further treatment after receiving primary treatment, as reported by Civil Surgeon, Mansa Hospital, Dr. Ranjeet Rai.
