This article contains potential episode spoilers for season 1 episode 5 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Marvel’s most recent small-screen streaming project, deviates from the norm in a number of ways. The new series follows Jennifer Walters, a brilliant lawyer, and Bruce Banner’s cousin, and is a procedural workplace sitcom that breaks the fourth wall. It almost appears purposefully designed to irritate the kinds of “fans” who would attack the show’s IMDb page with negative reviews and call the protagonist a Mary Sue.

Overall, the fourth episode was perhaps the greatest so far since it successfully blended a legal drama, a character study, a stand-alone plot, and a greater continuity. Here is what transpired and what we know regarding what will happen:

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law S1 EP 1: Recap

  • Jen’s most recent case involved defending Wong, who sought a cease-and-desist order against a low-rent magician named Donny Blaze who was employing the Mystic Arts as part of his act after being dismissed from Kamar-taj.
  • Jen tried to appeal to the court but failed, so she decided to try online dating instead, where She-Hulk was considerably more successful.
  • Wong and Jen battled the gooey monsters as Wong closed the portal after Donny unintentionally opened a portal to the demon realm.
  • At the conclusion of the episode, Jen received papers when her new partner fled right away after he realized she wasn’t the Hulk. She is being sued by Titania for using the She-Hulk name without permission.
