Former Maharashtra CM’s granddaughter Sharvari Wagh will be seen as the new Babli in the comedy film Bunty Aur Babli 2. She says that this is her big screen debut and she has worked very hard for it.
Very few people would know that Sharvari Wagh is the granddaughter of former Maharashtra CM Manohar Joshi. Regarding the film, Sharvari said, I am honored that YRF has cast me as the new Babli in the film.
Sharvari said thank you for the incredible work of Rani Mam Mukherjee in the first film. Babli is an iconic character in the history of Indian cinema. I am a huge fan of his and hope I have done justice to the role.
The new actress is being presented in a glam avatar in the film in which she is paired opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi, who plays the new Bunty.
He said, “Since my character is based on today’s times, I have tried to play it in my own way and I hope Rani Ma’am and the audience will like my effort.”
Sharvari said that this is my big screen debut and I have worked very hard on it. I can’t wait to see all those reactions.
Bunty Aur Babli 2 is a complete family entertainer which is all set to release on 19th November. The film is directed by Varun V. Sharma.
