Shark Tank India, a business reality show, was an instant hit with the Indian public. The show, which made its sharks famous, will be back with a second season soon. On social media, Sony Entertainment Television released a teaser for the forthcoming season. The promo video opens with a hopeful employee attempting to curry favor with his employer in order to secure funding for his business endeavor. The arrogant employer, on the other hand, simply dismisses his pleadings. “Stop knocking on the wrong door for investment,” says a narrator in the video.
The first season was only about 35 episodes long. The Sharks were Ashneer Grover, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta, Peyush Bansal, Anupam Mittal, and Ghazal Alagh, who were presented by Rannvijay Singha. Five of the judges were present at any given time in each program.
The Sharks spent almost Rs 42 crore last season. A total of 85,000 applications were received. The new season was revealed with a cool video on social media by the creators. Registrations for aspiring entrepreneurs are now open. They can do so by downloading the SonyLIV app. It will be intriguing to see who will be the next Shark on the show.
