Rare Planet is a terracotta product venture co-founded by Ranodeep Saha nd Vijaya Kumar. Their business idea is to deal in handmade terracotta and copper products which will be made by the Indian artisans. Moreover, the venture aims to provide employment to more than 25,000 artisans. Its products are available offline as well as on the D2C platforms. They offer several products which include handicrafts, stationery, jewelry, bottles, and home decor products made from terracotta, copper, ceramic, brass, wood, and marble.
Shark Namita Thapar has also mentioned Rare Planet in a tweet stating two of her favourite deals. She said, “Of my 25 deals, Kabaddi Adda & Rare Planet were for my love for India & for all things uniquely Indian that must be celebrated. I was in the US for 8 years & anyone who has lived away from their roots can understand how living far away deepens ur sense of longing & nationalism”.
