Samsung introduced the Galaxy Watch back in August 2018 and although the smartwatch packed a punch with the specs and looked golden, it fell prey to a serious issue, which by the looks of it, does not seem to have been resolved to date.

Well, we are talking about the overheating of the smartwatch which is turn caused skin rashes and light skin burn on the hands of the Galaxy Watch owners.

This issue was already raised by several users and we have also documented a post regarding this overheating problem back in 2018. However, almost after two years, the issue still persists and the OEM has by far, not looked into this matter.

Cut to present, you can still see several users reports regarding overheating problems on their Galaxy Watch which is reading to skin rashes and other skin problems.

There is no shortage of other user reports, claiming the same problem occurring on their Galaxy smartwatch. In fact, users of the Galaxy Watch Active 2 have also reported a similar issue with their smartwatches, causing skin rashes.

Samsung moderators have acknowledged these issues, and have asked the users to share some further information for resolving this issue. But, the resolution for this matter is still not available and Samsung is yet to address this issue.

We hope that Samsung takes the matter in its own hand and provides a solution for this issue, as the problem has surfaced almost two years back and users of the Galaxy Watch are still waiting for a full-proof remedy for this issue.
