The Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone running on the One UI 5.0 is facing issues with Facebook’s Messenger app. A user posted that he has not been receiving any incoming calls on Facebook Messenger.

Let’s look into it.

Samsung Galaxy S21 faces issues with Facebook’s Messenger App

Recently a user of the Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone posted on the Reddit platform about how his smartphone has not been receiving any incoming calls on Facebook Messenger.

He states that his incoming calls are not being displayed on his smartphone but at the same time, he is able to receive notifications about missed calls in Messenger. The user has no issues calling them back also.

The user has also stated that he has tried all sorts of things like checking the app, its settings, and permissions including all the other relevant apps as well. He has also tried clearing the data and cache and has also tried reinstalling the app again. Nothing has helped so far.

The reason why the user is having this issue is however unclear. It might be an issue with the One UI or an issue with the Messenger App of Facebook.

Another Reddit user has also commented on how his wife’s Galaxy S21 smartphone started having the same issue. Previously the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fe 5G smartphone had also faced a similar issue with its network connectivity.

However, what we can suggest is to do a complete backup first and then remove the facebook messenger app at first. And if this doesn’t work then you may try to reset your phone after taking the back up of your phone.

We weren’t able to find any other resolution for this problem apart from the one that we have shared with you above.
