Saints Row (2022) is an action-adventure video game and reboot of the Saints Row series. Sadly, its recent release has clearly missed the mark and players’ expectations.

It seems that the game is laced with inherent bugs and issues. Owing to the barrage of negative feedback, the official Saints Row account issued a statement promising fixes.

Accordingly, the team rolled out a Hotfix #1 addressing issues pertaining to camera, animation, PC launch and crashes.

That said, the fixes don’t seem to have worked well. Apparently, Saints Row players (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) are reporting an issue where the game is crashing again.

The bug seems to be affecting PS5 owners at the moment. Affected players keep experiencing a crash after making it past 10 minutes of the ‘Unto the Breach’ mission.

It is incredibly frustrating for players as the game has been experiencing similar crashing issues since launch.

Potential workarounds

Fortunately, there are some workarounds to help players make it through this patch. One such workaround includes killing the first guy glitching into the wall.

Another affected player recommends using the hoverbike to mow everyone down as fast as possible.

Those affected can also try the following workaround:

Support is allegedly aware of Saints Row crashing during Unto the Breach mission, as claimed by an affected player. The team also seems to be working towards fixing the issue.

There is no ETA for a fix yet. But we’ll keep tabs on further developments and update the article accordingly.
