Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie bring Ken and Barbie characters to life as they both were spotted on the set of ‘Barbie’ on Tuesday, Los Angeles.
Barbie, the upcoming movie –
Initially, Barbie and Ken are fictional characters. Many animated movies have been released to date. Simultaneously, the upcoming movie is based on the toyline, developed by Mattel.
Barbie is an upcoming Rom/Com genre movie, directed by Greta Gerwing. Greta also co-wrote the screenplay along with Noah Baumbach. The movie is produced under LuckyChap Entertainment, Mattel Films and Heyday Films.
Moreover, Barbie will be released on 21st July 2023 and will be distributed by Warner Bros, Pictures (WB) in the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The pre-release preparation –
The preparations for the movie began in 2014 along with Sony Pictures. Multiple writers and directors were changed. There were many nominations for actresses for playing the lead role.
Later in 2019, Robbie joined as the lead character serving as producer under LuckyChap entertainment along with other producers.
Moreover, even the Sony pictures option was kept aside and the rights were transferred to Warner Bros Pictures.
Recently, on Tuesday, the lead actors playing the Barbie and Ken character were spotted in their costumes on the Barbie’s film set, in Los Angeles.
Both were dressed in cowboy costumes with white hats. The actors were spotted in Pink (Barbie) and Black (Ken) for the first time on Tuesday.
Their fans are pouring all their love and excitement into their favourite characters and actors.
