Delhi Police launches Tatpar Delhi Police app. The application is available for downloading on mobile phones. It’s a mobile app.
Firstly, this app provides citizen centric services. The police app’s development credit goes to Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), National e-Governance Division (NeGD), and BISAG. Moreover, it hails the slogan- ‘always alert’.

The Tatpar Delhi Police app is a mobile app. It’s optimised as it runs smoothly without any impediments or delayed loading screen time. It’s available on Android play store.
Using the app, residents of Delhi can access purportedly all the services.
Moreover, for the first time it’s bringing in application, Geo-informatics technology for navigation. It offers about 53 services.
Services in the police app
It mainly focuses on navigation to jurisdictional police station. It shows the direction to a jurisdictional police station along with other details like police station’s name, SHO’s name, SHO’s contact no. etc.
Firstly, the division of the home page of the application is into three sections: home, information and social.
Under home there are 21 services. While, under information there are 16 services. Lastly, under social, there are social portals of Delhi police.
Further, it provides services for traffic too. For instance, it gives the location of traffic PIT. It means that it shows the location of the place where a towed vehicle is taken. Moreover, it gives traffic inspector details. Additionally, details of the nearest prepaid taxi or auto booth.
It also provides SOS contacts and so on. You can also know your pending traffic challans.
