With millions of players worldwide, Fortnite is the most popular Battle Royale title on the internet in terms of watch time.

Developed and published by Epic Games, it was released in 2017. However, thanks to the frequent updates, the game still feels fresh thanks to the developers bringing in new content in the form of events, cosmetics, and much more.

A few days ago, Fortnite marked the start of Chapter 3 Season 1 called “Flipped”. The island from Chapter 2 has now flipped and revealed several new locations.

However, the start of Fortnite Chapter 3 also brought in some changes to the gameplay with the developers nerfing the aim assist when using a controller.

Fortnite players are now complaining (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) that the aim assist has been nerfed so much that they feel like it’s non-existent. Many say that this gives keyboard and mouse players a huge advantage over those who prefer controllers.

Some say they are not able to get a single kill thanks to the fast-paced gameplay combined with the now nerfed aim assist. Many are angry with Epic Games’ decision and want the developers to revert the changes.

It looks like the aim assist nerf is really making Fortnite unplayable for those using controllers. But with Epic Games yet to say anything on the issue, it is highly unlikely that the changes will be reverted in the coming days.
