Realme has grown leaps and bounds this year, and this is surely one of the best years for the brand, be it globally or specifically in India. Besides, all this stuff is also being reflected in numbers as well.

According to a recent report by Counterpoint Research, the Chinese brand has grown by 800% in Q3 of 2019 by selling over 10 million smartphones. Not only this, but Realme also attained the 7th position in the global smartphone market rankings.

Moreover, some smartphones from the brand like the Realme 5 series or the Realme X2 Pro has been one of the major reasons for its huge popularity in the smartphone market today.

On the other hand, Realme is also continuously trying to improve its reputation when it comes to pushing timely security and other updates. In fact, recently, the December 2019 security patch has been re-released for Realme X2 in China.

Talking about the update, the changelog is almost the same as the previous update (A.13). Besides, there is nothing for the Indian variants of the device.

This new update is coming with version number A.14 and adds same old features like a dark mode quick toggle, optimized battery consumption etc. They allegedly solved the VPN connection issue in this hotfix as well.
