Resident Evil 7’s down-to-earth tone and grounded game design meant that weapon upgrading didn’t exactly have a place. Ethan could still craft like in previous games, but RE7 was going for a smaller scope that called back to the original game alone. Resident Evil Village is the other side of the Lei, embracing every little oddity that’s made Resident Evil the franchise it is. By now, many people reading this will already have their copy of Resident Evil Village, Capcom’s latest RE game which has become one of the most talked about titles this year. A recent job posting on Respawn Entertainment’s website appears to hint at an unannounced project being a first-person shooter of sorts as the team is looking to hire an experienced Lead Combat Designer for the title. At the moment it is unclear if this is related to Apex Legends or an entirely new IP.
